After almost five years of studying how to write and publish children’s books, I’m finally getting my book published! 😆I’m so excited to announce this with you. Watch the full announcement below about my debut picture book!

My debut picture book, Pirates Stuck at ‘C’, launches in the Spring of 2020! And I’m going to be sharing every step of the publishing process with you. Be sure to subscribe to my email list, if you haven’t already. (It’s where I’ll be sharing all the goods!)

Now that I’m going to be publishing a book, I’m going to share first-hand what it takes to publish a kid’s book, so you can learn as I go. From connecting to my illustrator, cover reveal, editing my final manuscript, and ultimately how I plan to market my picture book. Everything will be made available to you!

(PIRATES STUCK AT “C” sets sail February 2020! Get your copy here. 🎉)

  1. Congratulations! Just finished listening to Ruth Soukup’s podcast with you. 🙂 Will be very interested in following your journey. While I’m not truly interested in writing for children (even though I did take a Writing children’s Literature course a long time ago – go figure!), I AM interested in writing for a living and hope to publish novels…. Soooo GO FOR IT, BROOKE!

    1. Awe, thanks Julie! I was so grateful for the opportunity, but now it’s time to get working. I’ll let you know how this whole writing for a living thing works and if there’s any tricks. 😉
